Product info:
Baby’s Best Care, founded in Berlin by parents, creates premium baby diapers and gentle care products. Their perfume-, chlorine- and latex-free diapers were the first to earn Dermatest’s HypoSense® seal, proving exceptional skin compatibility and protection. Complementary wet wipes and other essentials meet the same rigorous dermatological and eco standards, giving parents confidence from the very first touch.
Dermatest® test procedure:
Epicutaneous testing (Patch testing) under dermatological control. Prior to testing, a detailed ingredient check is conducted. The test product was applied once occlusively for 24 hours on 30 subjects, including individuals with sensitive skin. Of these 30 subjects, 30% had atopic dermatitis, 30% were allergy sufferers, and 20% were asthmatics (only in the application testing). Skin assessments were performed before and 24, 48, and 72 hours after application.
In addition to patch testing, a separate application study is conducted over a minimum period of four weeks. Inclusion criteria and efficacy analyses for this study can be further defined and customized. To ensure a comprehensive evaluation of sensitization potential, a final epicutaneous test is integrated. No subject showed any irritative skin reactions during this study. Thus, it can be concluded that the product does not have high irritation potential and will not cause adverse skin reactions when properly used.
The Dermatest seal:
When it comes to your skin, it is even more important to ensure that products have undergone intensive dermatological testing for safety. Independent certifications, like ours, provide transparency and help you assess product safety. Baby’s Best Care Premium Baby Diaper has successfully passed our comprehensive testing, including an in-depth ingredient check, epicutaneous testing, and a four-week application study with sensitive skin subjects. As a result, it meets our strict requirements and has been awarded our HypoSense® Seal, confirming its high tolerability and low irritation potential.
