Skin thickness, skin density
The effect of applying products which have an impact on the thickness or density of skin (such as cellulite) can be demonstrated using ultrasound testing in the 20 MHz range. We use the SkinScanner DUB® simple (from tpm taberna pro medicum GmbH) which can visualise structures up to a depth of 1 cm with an axial resolution of around 80 µm and a lateral resolution of 200 µm.
