Sebumetry

The effect of products which influence sebum levels can be demonstrated using sebumetry. For this purpose, special tape is applied to the selected area of skin and this tape turns more transparent the more sebum there is. The Sebumeter® SM 815 (Courage + Khazaka electronic GmbH) which we use for these measurements determines the sebum level by means of a photodiode and is not affected by the skin hydration level. This means the effect of your product can be determined both qualitatively and quantitatively.
