Hair gloss, skin gloss
The glossiness of hair or skin can easily be determined using a Glossymeter. Both the shine-enhancing and dulling effects of haircare products and cosmetics can be quantified in this way. A precisely defined amount of light is reflected by the skin or hair and this reflection is measured. The Glossymeter sensor we use applies correction to the scattered light so that different skin types can be compared when measuring gloss.
