We are looking for test persons of all ages for products that come into contact with the skin. Test the latest cosmetics at Dermatest before they are launched on the market, as well as other everyday products.

Test persons refer test persons - Do you know someone with neurodermatitis, psoriasis or acne?

Do you know babies, children, or adults with eczema, psoriasis or acne?
If so, for each new participant personally referred by you who successfully completes a study participation, you can receive 15 € each.
The new participant simply provides your name during registration via our form or on-site at one of our participant centers. For further information or questions, feel free to contact our Dermatest team.

Who can become a Dermatest test person?

We need test persons of all ages and skin types for the existing test study program at Dermatest® – including you! Many test persons have been working with us for years and repeatedly take part in various studies. Our experts select the most suitable test persons for each study. The inclusion of infants is always particularly important to us, as baby care products or diapers naturally also have to be tested and these test persons naturally “grow out” of the application area after a short time. However, please remember that our area of activity is mainly limited to the Münster (Westf.) area, as longer trips make the process considerably more complicated.

What is being tested?

We test all products that can come into contact with our skin in any way, such as body creams, nail polish remover, face masks, body powders, soaps, shower gels, disinfectants, detergents, sun creams, plasters, make-up removers, foot creams, baby lotions, diapers, cleaning products and much more. Many product tests can therefore be easily integrated into your everyday life.

Requirements for our test persons when participating in application studies

Thank you for being our participant! As a participant, you are the most important part of the study, so we ask you to follow these instructions:

Avoid using any test products, creams, or other cosmetic products 6-8 hours before a skin physiological measurement.
Please appear without makeup for appointments (when measurements or photos are taken).
Please acclimate yourself for approximately 20 minutes upon arrival before each measurement.
You can participate in a maximum of 3 studies simultaneously (applying to different skin areas).
A two-week break is necessary between two studies on the same skin area.

If you are unable or unwilling to continue using the product for any reason, please contact us immediately!

If you feel the product is causing any unwanted skin reactions of any kind, please also contact us immediately! If possible, document the affected area with a photo (e.g., with your phone).
